Aloe barberae 

Aloe barberae, or the Tree Aloe, is Africa's largest Aloe variety, and as their name suggests they are practically a tree. Tree Aloes are noted for their neat, rounded crown of succulent foliage and smooth grey bark. They form a striking focal point in the garden which really catches the eye. Tree Aloe is best placed in a position anywhere between full sunlight to partial shade. It is also wind tolerant, has a moderate frost tolerance and a high drought tolerance. Tree Aloes develop a large base of roots so it is wise not to plant near pools etc. 7''/18cm pot

2ft Standard

Persea americana ‘Avocado’ (Bacon)

Upright vigorous avocado producing pear shaped fruit of medium quality. Most cold hardy variety, down to -5C. Great for Victoria. Avocados are very fussy about their soil conditions and will not tolerate wet feet or heavy soils, it is essential to prepare the ground for an avocado well before planting.  Young trees are susceptible to sunburn and damage from frost so  a small shelter while they establish is a very good idea. 4 litre pot size

Acer palmatum "Tsuma Beni"

Tsuma Beni is a stunning, small, upright Japanese maple that is very popular. Its large foliage is bright green with purplish tips seen in early Spring. During Autumn a wonderful display of orange is put on buy this little beauty! It is a slow growing variety that reaches a height of only 6-8ft over a 10 years period. Tsuma Beni responds best in filtered light and not direct sun. This maple is great for container growing. Likes a well drained soil. 12" pot size.

Thuja occidentalis

Smaragd Conifers have lush soft green foliage and grow into a conical shape not exceeding 1.2m in width and 3m in height. Plant them in large pots or plant them as an obelisk style feature, or along a fence as a low maintenance screen.
