Dodonaea viscosa ssp. cuneata

The Wedge-leaved Hop Bush is an evergreen shrub with attractive long, leathery green foliage, and small red flowers from late spring and summer. It works well as a windbreak or screening plant, especially for exposed, windy sites. Good for soil erosion control and its hardy and drought tolerant.
