Perfect for shaded areas, in tropical or subtropical climates, or warm protected positions. Indoors is fine near indirect sunlight. Mature growth 30-50cm. | Prunus x blireanaA small growing ornamental feature tree that blooms in late July/early August with soft pink double blossoms massed over the entire tree. These blossoms are long lasting and are showered in flowers by mid September and are fully in leaf with rich purple red foliage that changes to a bronzy red in mid Summer. Prunus Blireana grows to approx. 4-5m in height and width but with a trim, can be kept much more compact if desired. This hardy and colourful feature tree can be planted singly, in clumps or as an avenue/row. The Pink Plum Blossom is extremely hardy and enjoys almost any soil, is wind hardy, drought hardy and frost and heat tolerant.
