| Description | Alternanthera dentataA compact, ground covering variety with attractive, dark burgundy leaves. It is a hardy, easy care plant that forms a dense habit. It bears clusters of small cream flowers. It is a fantastic container plant, and also suits wall planting. It likes a part shade to full sun position, but performs best in full sun. Little Favourite produces dense foliage. Its foliage is burgundy purple and red; they turn bright red and orange in autumn. During spring, small cream flowers open, adding a nice contrast to the foliage. The blooms are followed in summer and autumn by small, red, ornamental berries.
Little Favourite is compact shrub that make a lovely dwarf specimen tree. They can be used for small hedges or even in pots. These plants require very low maintenance. They like rich, well drained soil. Ideally they should be planted in a morning sun to lightly shaded position for best foliage colour.
