Description

Archontophoenix cunninghamiana

Bangalow Palms are native to Australia and are often used as indoor plants here down South. To grow into a very large tree they would probably require warmer climates than Melbourne, but as a small or medium size tree they look lovely anyway. Use Bangalow Palms as a clumped indoor plant or in a sheltered spot outdoors to add a tropical feel to the garden. Please call to confirm availability (03) 9359 3331 or place your order before attending the nursery to avoid disappointment. 8"/20cm pot size

Lonicera nitida

Fast growing, fine leaf box hedging and topiary plant with a defined edge.

• Get your box hedge or topiary twice as fast! • Responds very well to pruning, becoming beautifully dense • Tolerates very poor soils and hot conditions

8"/20cm pot size, approximately 1ft in height.

Alnus jorullensis

Evergreen Alder (Toorak Gum) is a fast growing medium sized evergreen tree. This tree is tough and will quite often thrive where other trees have difficultly growing. It prefers soil with higher amounts of moisture and loves low wet ground.

Evergreen Alder is great as it can be shaped as well as used as a windbreak. Grows to around 6 meters in height. For more information, see our Evergreen Alder/Toorak Gum Tree factsheet.

10''/25cm pot

ContentBoxOz Lonicera has been specially developed by Chris and is our exclusive hedging plant. It has a deeper green foliage, a denser finish and more clearly defined shape than the traditional English Box. BoxOz Lonicera is the best plant with which to create your perfect hedge or border as it grows quickly and once your hedge has developed its easy to maintain with only a few trimmings a year. New shoots are soft and easy to cut and trimming is an effortless relaxing experience. Some traditional hedging plants grow only an inch or two a year. BoxOz Lonicera will produce a calf high border in under twelve months, a knee high hedge in around 18 months, and a waist high hedge in 30 months. Almost any soil is suitable, as long as it is not too swampy. Fertilise your BoxOz Lonicera occasionally with a complete fertiliser, and water as required.
