| Description | Allocasuarina torulosaThe Forest Sheoak is a hardy native Australian tree with a light brown bark with deep fissures. The leaves are thin green needles like a pine tree. A good garden specimen. Male Forest Sheoak trees have gold flowers in Autumn and the female have rounded warty cones. In Winter the branches turn a beautiful copper colour. Sheoaks are good for windbreaks and screening. 10"/25cm pot size. | Michelia x Fairy BlushFairy Blush magnolias are a new breed of evergreen magnolias that feature lovely fragrant pink flowers and glossy deep green leaves. These evergreen magnolias are perfect on their own as feature trees in the garden, but also make great flowering screens or tall hedges. They will grow to roughly 3m tall in the first 10 years but can be shaped and pruned to keep them shorter. Plant them at 1 per metre for a screen or hedge. Ideally they should be planted in a sheltered spot with full to partial sunlight and moist but well draining soil. | |
