The lemons produces by this tree are smooth and thin skinned and are not as large as the lemons from Eureka or Lisbon but are a more attractive looking, which could well be the reason why they are more popular at supermarkets. The blooms are a combination of large infertile flowers and small, fertile flowers in the middle. If the blooms are fertilized they will mature to ornamental rose red fruits that age to black (inedible). Viburnums are vigorous shrubs that becomes dry tolerant once they establish. They will grow in average soils, but prefer the idealist, humus rich, moist, well drained. Suitable for a part shade to full sun position.
