| Description | Melaleuca linariifoliaMelaleuca Claret Tops are a dense, low growing native shrub with small leaves, stunning red new growth and masses of white flowers in the spring. As Claret Tops only grows to approximately 1m x 1m it can be trimmed into topiary balls, as a low hedge or border or to add contrast to an otherwise dull garden. Claret Tops prefers a full sun to part shade position. The more sun, the better the colour! Grows best in a well drained loamy soil but can tolerate most soil types and light frost. The flowers attract beautiful birds and bees to the garden. 10"/25cm pot size. | Ctenanthe setosaCommon names: Silver Star or Grey Star. The Ctenanthe setosa is an evergreen perennial originating from Central and South America. It has long, rectangular shaped grey leaves with a striped pattern on the top side of the leaf and a beautiful purple on the underside. They are a fantastic plant because of their low maintenance requirements and the mature plants are excellent performers. Position in a partial to shaded position in your garden. If you have it indoors ensure there is good filtered light. They do best in well-draining soil. Water when the top layer so soil starts to dry. 7''/18cm pot | Eucalyptus Cephalocarpa, "Silver Stringybark"The Silver Stringybark is an excellent large low maintenance native tree for the Melbourne area and native to Victoria. It's drought and frost tolerant once established and features silvery foliage, white flowers during Winter and interesting "stringy" fibrous bark. These trees grow to a mature height of around 15m, so they make good shade trees or feature trees. 16''/40cm pot |
