Italian parsley most resembles the wild variety, and is often preferred by kitchen gardeners for its extra tolerance to sun and rain. It is also said to have a stronger flavour. This herb is very easily grown, but prefers moist, well drained soil in a full sun position. It has a wide range of kitchen uses in both cooking and garnishing dishes. This variety can also be used fresh or dried.

| Content | | Silver Birch (Betula pendula) are by far Melbourne’s most popular tree. They are easy to grow and if properly looked after they will grow quickly for the first few years, with growth of up to 6ft per year. Silver Birch are very attractive in all seasons with soft green lacy foliage creating dappled shade in the summer. In the autumn the foliage turns gold and in winter you have a brilliant white trunk with red hanging branches.
