Description

Salix integra 'Hakuro-Nishiki' , Dappled Willow, Flamingo Willow

The Japanese blooming willow, Salix integra, originates from the Asian flower garden culture and is mainly grown as standard. It is undemanding and enriches every garden with its gorgeous look featuring green-white variegated leaves. The intensity of the leaf colour can vary, depending on how much sunlight a Variegated Nishiki Willow gets. A big feature of the Nishiki willow is that new growth in spring is a gorgeous, delicate pink colour. This makes the dappled willow an attractive ornamental shrub.

Acmena smithii

Forest Flame is a very compact form of Acmena smithii that can easily be kept pruned under 1m. It produces glossy fine green leaves with attractive bright red new growth. If you keep it regularly trimmed will not produce berries.  This variety prefers a full sun or part shade position for best results and becomes extremely frost hardy once established. Will tolerate dry conditions once established and is reasonably frost tolerant. 6"/14cm pot size.

Sedum rupestre

Gold Fairy Cushion has golden coloured, fleshy foliage that creates year round interest. Forms a cushion-like mound making a highly textural ground cover. This low maintenance plant is  fast and easy to grow. Dry tolerant once established. Performs best in a full sun to partial shade location and well draining soil. Great for small gardens and edging for pathways/driveways. 3"/7cm pot size.

Pennisetum setaceum 'Rubrum'

Semi-perennial ornamental clumping grass with burgundy red foliage • Very hardy, tolerating most soil and weather conditions • Gorgeous, feathery seed heads that sway in the wind • Grown as a feature, mixed into cottage or coastal garden beds or lining fence lines This plant dies back in winter and will re-shoot in late spring! Please be aware if you purchase this plant between May and November it will "look dead". It is not dead. 3"/7cm pot size.
