Description

Pittosporum tenuifolium 'Green Pillar'

Pittosporum Green Pillar is a hardy and fast growing bushy variety of Pittosporum ideal for hedging and screening. It has small brown flowers which have a distinct honey scent and are produced in spring. Handles a wide range of conditions. Will grow in full sun to part shade.

Pellaea rotundifolia

The Pellaea is native to NZ and commonly called the Button Fern. This hardy evergreen has delicate arching fronds which are densely covered with more than 30 pairs of small, round leaflets, it is a popular houseplant or addition to fern garden, because of its easy care requirements. It thrives in well-drained soil and requires minimal watering. Unlike most ferns, the Button Fern is a little more tolerant of a cooler climate but doesn't like the frost. Position your Button Fern in a lovely bright spot with indirect sunlight. It will look fantastic paired in a tropical garden or even just in a hanging basket where you can enjoy the fronds as they cascade over the side of the basket. If you notice the fronds starting to yellow and wilt, its a sign of overwatering. Cut back on the water, and trim the fronds. 6''/14cm pot

Chrysanthemum cinerariifolium

Pyrethrum Daisy or sometimes called Dalmation Daisy is a fragrant, perennial herb with perfect little white daisy flowers. It is a wonderful Cottage garden shrub, attracting many bees and butterflies as well as fending off predatory pests in the vegetable garden. Pyrethrum is a hardy little plant, thriving in full sun positions, tolerating most soil types (except soggy soils) and requires moderate to low water once established. Prune after flowering to keep neat and to reduce spread as they can self sow their seeds after flowering.

Pittosporum eugenioides variegata

Pittosporum eugenioides variegatum (Lemonwood or Tarata) has glossy pale green oval shaped leaves with crimpled edges and produces cream flowers which are scented in Spring and Summer like honey. The leaves are lemon scented when crushed. A fantastic tree for screening. Can also be used as a specimen tree or in parks and gardens.

Alpinia zerumbet 'Variegata'

A hardy landscaping plant with tough variegated foliage. Produces hanging flowers in Spring. Great under-storey filler and pot plant. Approx 1-1.5m
