Ficus microcarpa hillii

Ficus hillii or 'Hill's Weeping Fig' are the hardiest of the evergreen ficus plants and are the number one choice for standardizing. The soft, white bark contrasts beautifully against the exuberant, glossy green foliage, making a feature out of your pleached hedge or standard topiary. Unlike other ficus, the foliage of the Hill's Weeping Ficus can be hit by a hard frost without recoiling and turning black. Ficus hillii can tolerate a wide range of soils from clay to sandy, preferring a rich, moist loam in which it would thrive. They grow best in full sun to part shade and produce no flowers, making it a no mess hedging option! Ficus roots are known to be quite vigorous, but can be controlled by keeping the foliage and head of the plant trimmed, roughly 2-4 times a year. Common names: Chinese Banyan, Malayan Banyan or Indian Laurel Fig. A hardy evergreen ficus plants and are the number one choice for standardizing. Erigeron karvinskianus

Camellia japonica 'Volcano'

Volcano bears scarlet red flowers. It is a fast grower with shiny dark green foliage, blooms early to late season. They are tolerant of both heat and light frost, but will need some protection in extreme situations, especially while young. grows to approximately 2m in height. 10" pot size.

Lonicera nitida

Fast growing, fine leaf box hedging and topiary plant with a defined edge. • Get your box hedge or topiary twice as fast! • Responds very well to pruning, becoming beautifully dense • Tolerates very poor soils and hot conditions

Convolvulus cneorum

Contrasting foliage makes Convolvulus Silver Bush a striking feature in the garden. • Slender silver foliage with bright, white cupped flowers • Low growing, only 40cm high and round • A beautiful addition to a cottage, low maintenance or potted garden

Rosemary officinalis 'Blue Lagoon'

Rosemary Blue Lagoon is a low growing, spreading shrub that grows about 1m tall and 2m across. It is very impressive when flowering as it's just a mass of blue. Goes great on banks or in rockeries. Used for hedging as it loves a trim. With no maintenance necessary after roots are established its perfect for any garden!

Plectranthus caninus

Dogbane is a perennial herb from the mint family, which grows to about 15cm high, 30cm when in flower. When crushed, leaves have a very strong aroma, however dogs and cats are said to be able to smell the aroma from intact leaves and be repelled from the plant. This herb is also know as "scaredy cat plant". This plant prefers full sun to part shade, but may need more shade in very hot areas. If there is too much shade the plant becomes "leggy" with less foliage. It's frost tender so it needs a warm protected position to protect it from frost and hot sun, it's not suited to open conditions. Water young plants regularly, and once established older plants will tolerate short dry periods. It flowers in spring and summer. And this plant is also recommended for use as an insect repellent.

Murraya paniculata

Lush green shrub, ideal for medium hedging.
