| Description | Banksia ericifolia 'Little Eric' A terrific hardy small shrub which can be used for low hedging and screening as well as a lovely feature plant, and does well in coastal gardens. It has attractive orange flowers with maroon styles and whitish perianth from winter through spring, and they are highly attractive to large and small honey eating birds and insects. It suits a wide range of conditions and soils, including dry and partly shaded spots, where it will still flower. It is a very easy care plant. It can also be pruned into a more dense shape, this is best done in autumn and after flowering. It is a more compact form of Banksia ericifolia. 6''/14cm pot | Ficus pumila variegata Creeping/Climbing Ficus 'Ice Caps' has crinkly, heart-shaped variegated juvenile leaves on a tracery of fine stems which adhere closely to its support. When the plant matures it starts to produce large, leathery adult foliage on horizontal, woody branches. Mature plants also produce yellowish-green, inedible figs. The Ice Caps fig is very hardy and drought tolerant once established. Prune to control rampant growth and to remove horizontal branches which stand out from the support and produce unattractive adult foliage. 8''/20cm pot | |||||||
