Ulmus parvifolia

The bark of the Chinese Elm is a real stand out feature, as the tree sheds it in patches, creating the effect of a tapestry of varying browns and greys. Foliage is lush, shiny and green, and the tree is semi deciduous, turning golden in autumn, and keeping its leaves in warmer areas. It has also been noted by many Aussie gardeners in recent years that native birds enjoy the fruit of the Chinese Elm.

Zamia furfuracea

Cardboard Cycad is a very robust landscaping plant which will grow in full sun to part shade. The foliage is long and tend to remain horizontal (especially if grown in shade) with rounded leaflets which are particularly stiff and thick with a furry texture. This plant doesn't need flowers to look appealing. Great low maintenance architectural plant.

This mint can be used in the kitchen the same as other mint varieties, and is the main flavour in the liqueur "creme de menthe". It's perfect to use in jellies, sauces, stir fries, salads, and a wide range of desserts.

Lemon Scented Tea Trees are not only bird attracting but ideal for tough conditions such as drought or poor soil. A good screening plant.
