It makes a great feature or screen plant with good cut flowers. Tolerates some frost. This evergreen shrub is native bird and wildlife attracting. | Allocasuarina torulosaThe Forest Sheoak is a hardy native Australian tree with a light brown bark with deep fissures. The leaves are thin green needles like a pine tree. A good garden specimen. Male Forest Sheoak trees have gold flowers in Autumn and the female have rounded warty cones. In Winter the branches turn a beautiful copper colour. Sheoaks are good for windbreaks and screening. | Citrus medica var sarcodactylisBuddha's Hand Citron has large, yellow, fragrant fruit divided into finger-like sections. It looks like a lemon but contains no fruit or pulp. The peel and rind are also used in cooking. The fruit will ripen in late Autumn.
