Description

Pittosporum tenuifolium

Pittosporum Sunburst is a hardy, fast growing plant ideal for hedging and screening. It bears foliage that is glossy with rounded lime green leaves with striking yellow markings on them. Pittosporum Sunburst prefers a position of full sun or partial shade and well drained soil. This plant is wind tolerant. Sunburst is great for hedging and grows well in coastal regions.

Digiplexis

A breakthrough cross between Isoplexis and Digitalis carries large orange flowers with pink speckled creamy throats on densely packed 90cm tall stems and 60cm wide. They are frost-hardy in most if not all Australian gardens. Last year in our own garden they were in flower from late spring until mid-autumn.

Agave attenuata

Agave are one of the easiest plants to establish and maintain. They grow in full sun to shade in most soil types. Agave are best grown in reasonably well drained soils and love to be watered regularly, once a week to once a fortnight, but will thrive in periods of dryness.

Cercis siliquastrum

Cercis 'Judas Tree' is one of the most hardy Redbuds on the market, tolerating full shade as well as the heat of summer. This gorgeous shade tree blooms pink blossoms in the early spring on its bare branches, turning vibrant green with the signature heart-shaped foliage in summer. Perfect as a shade tree or feature in suburban garden.   See our Cercis Factsheet here for more about the different Cercis varieties!
