| Description | Phormium tenax 'Lemon Spritzer' Flax
Flax Lemon Spritzer is an aesthetic evergreen plant with 2 inch wide leaves that have a central yellow band which fades to yellow-green by Autumn. Can grow in either sun or partial shade. Prune the green foliage to maintain the yellow highlights.
Flax Lemon Spritzer can tolerate fairly dry conditions but thrives with occasional to regular irrigation. It is capable of growing close to the sea side. Great garden plant with eye catching colours. | Stachys byzantina (syn. lanata)
Irresistibly soft, furry silver foliage, the 'Lambs Ear' is a must have in every Cottage garden.
• Tall purple flowers
• Looks great in pots, rockeries, along pathways and mass planted
• Tolerates dry soils
6"/14cm pot size. | Lavandula angustifolia "Hidcote"
Hidcote Lavender is a dwarf bush with aromatic silver-green leaves bearing slender spikes of dark purple-blue flowers during spring and summer. The flowers are darker in colour than Munstead lavendar, and Hidcote does not grow as tall.
6" pot size, approximately 8-20cm in height. | Lavandula angustifolia
Traditionally English Lavender was grown for its heavenly fragrance, used in oils and potpourri.
• Small, slender blue-ish purple flowers on tall stems above the foliage
• Grown in pots, as a hedge or in the cottage garden to attract bees and butterflies
• Tolerates drought and dry conditions, preferring well drained soils
