Description

Assorted Succulents

Succulents are colourful, hardy plants with robust foliage and come in a range of colours and shapes. • Will tolerate most soils and weather conditions • Ideal for rockeries, garden borders, pots and hanging baskets • Come in colours of red, purple, green, orange, yellow and even blue! 6"/14cm pot

Acer buergerianum

The Trident Maple is a small to medium-sized deciduous tree, appreciated internationally for its ability to grow into a trouble-free tree that is also highly drought tolerant. It produces broad, hard, shiny rich dark green "three-pronged" leaves.

The flowers that it bears in spring are a yellow-green colour and are small, similar to other maples. Makes a good street tree, and grows to around 12 meters. For an avenue we recommend planting 5m apart, or for a screen 2.5m apart.

Ulmus parvifolia

The bark of the Chinese Elm is a real stand out feature, as the tree sheds it in patches, creating the effect of a tapestry of varying browns and greys. Foliage is lush, shiny and green, and the tree is semi deciduous, turning golden in autumn, and keeping its leaves in warmer areas. It has also been noted by many Aussie gardeners in recent years that native birds enjoy the fruit of the Chinese Elm.
