Description

Ficus elastica 'Melany' Rubber plant

A stunning plant that has very glossy leaves which are greenish burgundy in colour. It is more compact than other varieties of rubber plants. The glossy, dark burgundy leaves grow inside a sheath which grows larger as the new leaf develops. When the leaf matures it will unfurl, dropping the sheath off the plant. A wonderful indoor houseplant that is simple to care for. 7'' pot

Stachys byzantina (syn. lanata)

Irresistibly soft, furry silver foliage, the 'Lambs Ear' is a must have in every Cottage garden. • Tall purple flowers • Looks great in pots, rockeries, along pathways and mass planted • Tolerates dry soils  6"/14cm pot size.
Betula pendula 'Dalecarlica' The Cut-Leaf Birch is a very graceful tree with distinctive feathery foliage and fine white bark. It is slender and graceful enough to be a part of a small garden without appearing too dominant, and is also effective in larger areas planted alone or in groups. A moderate growing and medium sized tree, ideal for either a small garden setup or even a larger forest-like vista, this tree will grow well in most soils in a sunny to part shade position. A beautiful specimen tree not to be looked over! 10"/25cm pot size

Agave attenuata

Agave are one of the easiest plants to establish and maintain. They grow in full sun to shade in most soil types. Agave are best grown in reasonably well drained soils and love to be watered regularly, once a week to once a fortnight, but will thrive in periods of dryness. 8" pot size, approximately 25cm wide head.

Rosa floribunda

Fragrant medium red flowers, with dark green leaves. Compact growing.

Magnolia grandiflora

An evergreen beauty with elegance and class, the 'Super Gem' Magnolia is a newer, compact growing form of the Little Gem Magnolia. Hand-sized white and heavily fragrant flowers against robust, dark green foliage make this plant a favourite for hedging and feature planting. Tolerating poor soils, heat and frost, they are an ideal plant for the Melbourne and rural Victorian garden. Rosmarinus officinalis

Prostrate or Creeping Rosemary is a fast growing, hardy perennial shrub. It has the same attractive flowers and classic aroma as common rosemary, but grows low and spreading along the ground, making it an excellent ground cover, and is great to use in rock gardens or at the edge of large containers or in hanging baskets. Prostrate Rosemary loves moist, well drained soil, and full sun. However it will tolerate some short dry spells. Not only is this plant handy for the kitchen garden, it looks stunning as well!
ContentRoses are easily one of the most popular and widely cultivated groups of flowering plants. Numerous different cultivars have been produced over the last two centuries, although roses have been grown for millennia before their popularity bloomed. Renowned for their flowers and beauty, they are also loved for other reasons such as their fruit. The rose hip can be made into an old fashioned jam. Roses range in size and variety from your standard and bush roses to climbers and weeping varieties. Amongst all their beautiful colours, varieties and fragrances there is bound to be the perfect rose out there for your garden.
